Join us in the dynamic home appliance industry where we are revolutionizing laundry care appliances! This project started 4 months ago and focused on defining an exciting project scope and user stories that will shape the future of laundry technology.



Project start & project end: Immediately, expected duration 3 months (extension possible)
The workload in the project in %: 100 %
Project country & location: Germany (Berlin)
Project language: English / German
Contract type: contract for service
Share of remote work in %: 80 % / Occasional meetings required on site



Initial tasks to be performed in the project:
• Development of embedded software for controlling the demonstrator
• Design and setup of the software architecture
• Programming and development of the central control system
• Coordination of requirements for sensor interfaces and software feature teams, including Voice Interaction
• Development of interfaces for sensors and output devices (e.g., display, microphone)
• Frontend development for the visual display output on an integrated TFT display and an external monitor (serving as a dashboard for sensor data)
• Quality assurance and testing of the software, including tests on the demonstrator
• Documentation of the software architecture and development processes



Goal: Creation of a demonstrator that makes future technologies for laundry care tangible and accessible

Activities:
- Development of embedded software to control this demonstrator
- Front-end development for the visual display and an external dashboard
- System integration tests


Conditions:
- Prototyping environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- The washer-dryer that presents the sensor functions in an exciting way
- Prototype in laboratory environment is available
- Hardware development and integration
- We have a tight schedule with a demonstration session for the end of March 2025
