Opis zadania i wymagań

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant (m/w/d).

Project:
This project centers on developing and deploying hardening scripts for virtual machines in Azure and AWS, following CIS (Center for Internet Security) standards to enhance security.
These scripts will incorporate best practices to minimize vulnerabilities and ensure CIS compliance across the infrastructure. The project covers both the development and phased rollout of these standards to strengthen the overall security posture.

Responsibilities:
• Develop CIS-compliant hardening scripts for virtual machines in Azure and AWS, focusing on Windows systems.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a security architecture and hardening approach based on CIS standards.
• Collaborate with project leads to support the rollout and implementation of hardening solutions across the infrastructure.
• Prepare reports in progress and key security metrics for management.
• Participate in regular steering committee meetings with management to provide updates on development progress and address technical details.
• Train technical staff on CIS standards and Windows hardening best practices to enhance security awareness.
• Provide expert advice on additional security technologies that may support the hardening process
• Address ad hoc security-related queries that arise during the hardening implementation and offer specialized guidance as needed.

Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of CIS security benchmarks and their practical application.
• Extensive expertise in PowerShell for developing efficient and effective hardening scripts
• In-depth knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO) design, implementation, and management
• Proven experience in Windows system administration and foundational cloud knowledge in AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with GitLab for version control and collaboration
• Proficiency in project management and IT process consulting
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical details effectively
