Your Skills
- Extensive practical experience (> 7 years) with the ServiceNow platform and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Experience configuring a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) taking into account stakeholder needs and requirements.
- Setup of ServiceNow discovery (schedules/IP ranges/mid-server) for server/DB/network and storage components.
- Knowledge of rules engine configuration and automation within ServiceNow.
- Understanding of core ITSM processes such as change management, incident management, knowledge management, problem management.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis
Your Tasks
- Responsible for technical set up, discovery configuration, configuration of the information domain and the rollout for the onboarding of the affiliates into the client's ServiceNow
- Set up credentials needed for system connections (e.g. LDAP, Service accounts)
- Create mid-servers within the International Affiliate and install Mid-Server Software
- Configure firewall settings to allow mid-server access and credentials to reach target devices and systems
- Single Sign On (SSO) configuration for International Affiliate users
- Integrate with Active Directory by pulling in foundation data for Configuration Management (User, Department, Company, Location)
- Introduction of Business Application data to LeanIX
- Set up the dynamic discovery of Configuration Items (CI’s) within ServiceNow, including the core classes Server, Database, Storage, Network, End User Devices (clients, printers and mobiles)
- Configure Discovery types in-scope (Cloud (AWS/Azure, VCenter, SCCM/Intunes, IP Discovery)
- Identifying Business Processes and ingesting (dependency on LeanIX) and identifying Information Objects and ingesting (dependency on RSA Archer)
- Importing Service Level Agreements for affiliate
- Population of PII, PHI and SII where available
- Accompanying the rollout (Incident Management Process, Change Management Process, Problem Management Process, Knowledge Management Process, Service Request Management Process)
- Migrate Service Requests to ServiceNow with the relevant catalogue items available
